5 Dupes for High end Makeup.

Hey guys,

Back in August my workload double when I started to work for Style 9-5 beauty division. I'm the new writer contributor. :-)

I'll share here after a month or so my posts because I believe they are great and there's a lot of good tips to share. Take a look.

With so many options of makeup and new brands popping up all over, is hard to focus where we want to spend our precious money on. One thing is true, we want the best on the best in a budget friendly price. How to do that?

Trying some dupes for high-end makeup.

We have been testing out a bunch of great makeup, and we found at the drugstore exactly what do you need to look high-end without spending the price.

Brow:

You can leave home with your SPF on and makeup free but the brow have to look sharp and on place. The best option to look natural and beautiful is working with a quick brow gel that will hold in place.

Best option on the market is the Benefit Gimme Brow – volumizing fiber gel ($32.00), that gives volume and mimic your hair colour to your eyebrow look fuller. On the drugstore side we have Essence makeup, make me brow eyebrow gel mascara ($3.99) that do exactly the same. This product is perfect for those that don’t like to fill up the brow with a pencil.

Primer:

The best way to prep your skin for makeup is to apply a good primer; it will minimize the pores and even the complexion. The most loved one in this department for sure is the Smashbox Photo finish Primer ($44.00) is an oil free formula from heaven. Luckily we found a great dupe for this baby that works as great as the original, is the NYX Shine Killer ($16.00), has the super easy application, feels good on the skin and keep your makeup put together all night, the best part is guilt free purchase.

Foundation.

Foundation transforms our skin, so is natural that we going to look for the perfect match. One of the favorites of celebrities and makeup artists, the Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation ($68.00) is a winner for the perfect skin. On the other hand, we have the fantastic dupe that works perfect and the price of $16.96 will hook you up to this baby, is the L’Oreal True Match Lumi. the colour range is not big as the Giorgio Armani but the results are perfect as this one.

Bronzer:

On this department, we have so many great drugstores ones that was hard to narrow down just 1 to compare with an expensive option. The chosen one, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil matte bronzer ($38.00) not only smells amazing but gives you that touch of summer colour. If you are on a budget and wants to look all bronzy until fall, just go to your closest drugstore and pick up the Rimmel London, natural bronzer ($7.99), you going to have the same result for less. This dupe is amazing.

Mascara:

This last dupe turns the Internet upside down not just because of the amazing quality but the packaging similarity. We are talking about the L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara ($10.96). This item came to set the bar high on the drugstore mascara game, the application gives volume and length delivering everything that the original loved, Too Faced Better than sex mascara ($30.00) do for half of the price and same quality.
