Couple years ago I got hooked into podcasts and audiobooks world. Back then, we did not have a lot of beauty and fashion podcasts related so I used to listen to some interesting ones that people around me recommended.
If you're not familiar with podcasts ( I bet you are), is like a "radio interview", that discuss various topics, you can listen in your computer but if you have a smartphone, just download for free the podcast app in your app store and search your favourite topics to find a podcast that you like. Best part, all for free.
Nowadays, podcasts are part of our lives and we can find on any topic we want. Being a beauty junkie myself, I'm always looking for new and interesting podcasts to listen during the boring traffic times or even when I'm cooking have a spare time.
In no particular order, I select 5 must listen to podcasts if you love beauty and lifestyle, take a look.
Him & Her podcast ( By skinny confidential).
I've been a fan of Lauryn Evarts Bosstick for a couple of years now, She has a stunning blog that discusses beauty, lifestyle, fashion and fitness. When she decided to team up with her husband to translate her easy and fun topics approach in a podcast, everything turns into magic. They have a relationship goals and the selection of amazing topics and guest that they bring into the podcast is gold. From skincare gurus, life coaches, entrepreneurs, bloggers and plastic surgeons, the talk in an easy and direct way that makes us feel we are in the same room participating in the conversation.
The Youtube power hour ( former beauty and the vlog podcast) - by Erika Vieira.
As far as I can remember, this was the first all beauty and youtube related and fun fact, was a referral from my boyfriend when he was researching about social media. Erika brings super relevant guests to interview, from micro to big influencers to explore every angle of the social media from different points of view. Her questions are direct to the point and very clear and she gives out lots of valuable tips for everybody who wants to break into the social media space. One thing that I love about this podcast is the consistency of some questions for different guests, makes easier to see the different points of view from each influencer no matter the size of their audience.
Breaking Beauty - By Carlene Higgins and Jill Dunn
Those 2 Canadians have tons of experience as editors from big magazines and a lot of contacts. with a lot of knowledge and killer guests, those two have access to the beauty powerhouse founders such as MAC, Beauty Blender, Deciem, Smashbox and others. If you're super into beauty and want to know the story behind the mega brands, you going to love the way Carlene and Jill talk with their guest like they were best friends.

From the founder of the blog We Were What, Danielle is a well-known name in the fashion and beauty industry, she turns her blog into a brand that is the favourite between the biggest influencers and she did a lot through social media market. she shares a lot of personal experience of how she got where she is, and bring experts from the industry to chat about the latest trends, lifestyle and business. She started as an influencer herself and now as a businesswoman, she is sharing a lot of valuable tips.
